The NYU Langone Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (EMPA) Fellowship is an 18-month program located in the heart of New York City at the world-renowned NYU Langone Medical Center. The Fellowship is designed to expand and refine the specialized skills and clinical expertise necessary for PAs to perform in a fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department. Our mission is to prepare the best and brightest PA professionals to excel in the field of Emergency Medicine.

At the NYU Langone Medical Center, your education will include both clinical and didactic instruction, with additional emphasis on trauma, stroke, cardiology, pediatrics, and observation medicine. The academic environment at NYU Langone extends to all five boroughs of NYC, creating a rich and diverse experience for each learner. In addition to our academic medical center located in Manhattan, you will also participate in trauma care at NYU Lutheran and experience a community hospital setting at NYU Langone Cobble Hill, both located in Brooklyn. Alongside your clinical experience, you will have access to incredible resources that will individualize and supplement your learning. NYU Langone is proud to offer daily grand rounds given by respected leaders in their specialty; our library system ensures instant access to the latest and best of medical literature; and our state-of-the-art simulation facility, NYSIM, provides cutting-edge skills training and practice. With access to the vast NYU Langone hospital system and its resources, your opportunities are endless.

New York City is unlike any other city in the world. It is a dynamic melting pot of many cultures and people. We encourage our Fellows to explore this incredible and exciting place and to take advantage of the infinite opportunities that await you.
