The Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Department of Emergency Medicine PA Residency is an 18-month program, exposing residents to many specialties necessary for a career in Emergency Medicine. Description

Train at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions for a career in Emergency Medicine. The residency will be based at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. This will be an 18-month residency with the following curriculum:

  • Nine months in the EM at JHBMC
  • One month rotations: MICU, CICU, Internal Medicine, Peds ER
  • Two week rotations: Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Neurology, Burn Unit, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Electives Attend weekly Emergency Medicine Residency conferences at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. While on off-service rotations, will attend specialty specific conferences. Receive training in ATLS and Emergency Ultrasound. There will be a stipend paid. Life, AD&D, Short-term Disability, Malpractice provided. Medical, Dental, Vision plans offered. CME funds. Paid time off. We will be accepting one resident every six months. During final six months, resident will also function as mentor to junior residents.
